This is my 2nd year as the Castle View High School DECA advisor. I love my job and adore my students. Teaching is my passion and seeing the growth, connection and confidence that students experience from DECA is the best part of my job. I received my undergraduate from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado in Boulder. I worked in Association Management for 5 years setting up continuing education events for physicians and developing online classes. I realized my heart was in teaching and went back to pursue my Masters in Education. I began teaching in 2010 and have taught both elementary and high school. In 2009 my husband and I started a Franchise called the Little Gym of Park Meadows, which we have been running for the last 15 years. I love business and education and helping students follow their dreams. |
My husband, Scott, and I have two children Lucy (13) and Zac (10). We love the outdoors and getting outside any opportunity we can to hike, bike, ski or camp.
